Avoid Marriage Autopilot: Stay Engaged for a Healthy Relationship

In today’s sermon, our pastor talked about autopilot. We all have places in our lives that run this way, and it can be a good thing. But it can also cause us problems because we miss things we need to embrace, challenge, or otherwise react to.

Marriage autopilot is a very dangerous thing. Some folks end up being asked for a divorce without seeing the signs it was coming because they were on autopilot. Others miss times when they should do something for their spouse. Or miss opportunities.

If you tend to run on autopilot, please switch it off in your marriage. Take a good look at what is going on, and make course corrections as needed.
