Understanding the Kivin Method

I’ve been seeing a lot about The Kivin Method recently in my feeds. I’d never heard of it, so I did some digging. It seems to have made a splash on some Internet Message boards in 2003. It has slowly worked its way into less fringe parts of the Interwebs, and recently became one of those things everyone wants to write about. So I guess I’ll join in.

Dolls showing The Kivin Method

The Kivin Method is a way of doing oral sex on a woman. She lies on her back. He lies at an angle to her body, under one of her legs. You could also be on your hands and knees, with her legs both flat. This will change things up, but won’t give you as full access.

The benefit of this position is it gives him better access to her vulva, and allows him to move his tongue in better ways. It would make it easier to add some penetration, with your finger or a toy, so there’s that. Articles I’ve read call it mind-blowing or a guaranteed orgasm. But hype aside, it’s different, and that alone can make it a good thing.

So give it a try. If she likes it, great. If not, just move on.

My wife made a face of disapproval. I saw a display of love and service of the man.

How I would truly love to try it on my wife. I love oral both giving and receiving but my wife likes neither. She sees it as dirty and won’t tolerate it. Plus she sees it as a holdover from my past sins. She is pretty well convinced that it’s something they came up with for pornos and that I wouldn’t have thought of it nor would want it if I had never seen it in pornography.

I haven’t shown her this post. I won’t either, since she would see that as me pushing for things she doesn’t want or feel is ok to do. She would also see the illustration you posted as pornographic. I know because she reacted to similar illustrations on a Christian toy site that way.

I don’t know which site because she didn’t say other than it was one of the ones I had suggested at one point when we were talking about getting a toy to try. The sites were all recommended by some of the ladies who write sex positive blogs from a Christian lady’s perspective. I checked them before suggesting them to her. They illustrated how to use the products in a clean, Christian friendly manner. None were remotely pornographic unless things changed drastically between the time I checked them and when she got on there to shop.

Still, I can’t say I’m terribly surprised. Our ultra conservative upbringings left little room for any illustrations of such things, however carefully done. I had hoped that she had grown to a point of seeing them for what they were but apparently not. My wife is a registered nurse, after all. I know for a fact that she has seen things far more graphic in her schooling and her experience as a nurse. 🤷‍♂️

All I can say is I’m sorry for your struggles.
My wife attended very strict catholic schools into her college years. In every other aspect of her life she was a rebel. One of the 1st female engineers working in defense contractors. Was on an FBI watch list because of some anti war protests. But in the bed room…nope. Such a prude. I gradually convinced her to set aside her fears that I’d get turned off by the smell or her vaginal warts, and she experienced multiple orgasms…many times. Understanding now that 80% of women cannot reach climax by penetration alone, I’m so glad that I was able to help her experience pure pleasure. She died 3 months ago, but still lives in my heart. Keep trying to address her fears.

I’m sorry for your loss, Rob. It sounds like you had a good marriage relationship. Thank you for your kind comments.
