Last Monday, I suggested you tell your wife what you do to show her love, and ask her what she does to show you love. I also asked you to keep an eye out for her doing those things during the week. Were you surprised at how often she communicates her love?
This week, please ask her how you could best show her your love. Take notes, and then work on doing those things.
After she has her turn, tell her what she could do to show you love. For many of you, sex will be high on the list. That’s fine, but don’t make too big a deal about it. Say “more sex” or “you initiating once in a while.” If sex is the biggest way you need her to show you love, it’s fair to let her know it’s the big one; but stop there. Be sure to give her several non-sexual options as well. Giving her one that you think would be easy for her is also a good idea.
