When during the day do you and your wife have sex? Is that because it works best at that time, or is it just what you do because, ah, reasons?
Most folks have sex at bedtime because that is what we think is normal. And yeah, you’re in bed and less than fully dressed if not naked, so there is that. But might sex be better at some other time of the day? More to the point, might your wife be more into it or enjoy it more at a different time?
The time of the day can make a big difference. Some women are usually too tired to want or enjoy sex by bedtime. If she’s a morning person, doing it first thing might be great for her. If you can manage afternoon sex, that can be a great break in your day. And there are a few folks who enjoy sex in the middle of the night when one wakes up and starts feeling up the other.
If you and your wife have never discussed this, I suggest you do so. If some other time seems like it might work, give it a try. Think outside the box; you could try having sex before date night rather than after. One wife told us her hubby dropped the kids at Sunday School and then came home to have sex before they went to church. She said it was the best sex of the week!
