Today, I want to introduce you to a great sex position that I rarely see mentioned. The best name I’ve seen for it is the cross roads position.
The image show how to do it. It’s not difficult to do, but trying to explain it in words is not so easy. That said: She lies on her back. You lie at ninety degrees to her body, on your side. You are under her leg closest to you. Her far leg can also be over you, but taking that leg between your legs is a better way to go. It may take both of you to get your penis inside, and she may need to wiggle around a bit. Once she has a feel for it, she can do it easily. You can get deeper penetration by rolling forward.
This position is very easy for both of you because neither of you are holding up your own weight, or is under the other. You have one hand free to touch her breasts or her clitoris. You could finger her to orgasm, or use a vibrator to get her off. Or slip the vibe between your bodies, up against her clit.
You can thrust more than enough to climax. Her leg between your legs helps, and you can put a hand on her shoulder. If you don’t penetrate her fully, the head of your penis will be where she is tighter, which will provide more stimulation.
Because of the way your bodies fit together in the cross roads position, she may be less likely to get sore or get a UTI.
Give it a try. It’s great for when you are tired. It’s a good position for long slow sex, or if you want to fall asleep while still together. If one of you has back issues or a disability, this position may work very well for you. It would also be a good pregnancy position if she can lie on her back without any problem.

It seems like this would be a challenge to maneuver to this position. My wife requires a lot of foreplay and getting into this position seems like it would be a slow transition. Thoughts?
@D – Once you have a feel for it, getting there from lying side by side is pretty easy. And you could move to the right places and continue foreplay before or after insertion.
Ha. That’s what we discovered ourselves when my wife was very pregnant with our four kids, years ago. Where there’s a will, that’s the way!
