While I was looking for a post image recently, I saw one that said, “Sex is like pizza. Even when it’s done bad it’s good.”
That is a very male statement, and I suspect most women would strongly disagree with it. Bad sex can leave a woman hurting physically and/or emotionally.
Sex has a much bigger buy in cost for women. She can get pregnant. Her bits are more delicate than our bits, so she can be left sore or with a tear. She can get a UTI or a yeast infection from sex, especially rough, fast, or prolonged intercourse. Furthermore, she might not be able to orgasm, or it might take so much effort she doesn’t feel it was worth it. And if she feels her guy is just using her for release, then she feels used and unloved. If she said yes because she knows she’s said no the last several times and doesn’t feel she can get away with it again, she’s not likely to enjoy the sex or feel good about her husband afterwards.
For a woman, poor sex isn’t worth doing, and bad sex can be horrible. If you understand this and work to avoid poor and bad sex, your wife and your marriage will benefit. And in the long run, your sex life will improve for both of you.
BTW, your wife having an orgasm doesn’t mean the sex was good for her. Orgasm is a result of sufficient stimulation, and she can have one when she would rather not.
