What Should You Weed Out?

How was your holiday season? What did you enjoy and what would you be okay never doing again? What about your wife, how would she answer those questions? Does either of you feel your marriage got run over by Christmas?

Sometimes we do things we’d rather not do because we care about the people involved. That is right and loving, but it’s easy to do too much of that, especially if you’re a people pleaser or are married to one.

Couple exhausted from Christmas.

If you want a better holiday season next year, you need to make plans for that now while the reality of this year is fresh in your minds. Make decisions now apart from the pressure and craziness. Don’t just decide what you won’t do again, talk about what you didn’t do that you would like to do next year.

If you want to ensure what you decide today actually affects next year, consider writing something down.
