Sex: The Gift You Never Stop Opening

I’ve been enjoying sex with Lori for thirty-eight years. We’re still finding new delights and still learning ways to make it even better for each other.

If your sex life isn’t what you wish it were, this may make you feel bad. But take heart! Lori and I have heard from couples who finally started enjoying sex together a decade, or two, or even three after they married. We’ve also heard from women who learned to orgasm, or to orgasm reliably, or to do it multiple times, when their oldest child was a teenager. And we know plenty of fifty-year-old and sixty-year-old couples who are having more and better sex than most couples half their age.

So in this season of hope and renewal, please believe your sex life could get better. Or much better. Then do what you can to help that happen. That means working on both the sex and your relationship as a whole.
