I’ve been very aware of my wife’s needs since her surgery. When standing up hurts, or requires help, having someone ready to get you anything you want or need is a blessing. It makes you feel loved and cared for to be babied a bit.
I’ve decided to keep babying her when she doesn’t “need” it anymore. Not as much as I’ve been doing, but more than before.
If you think your wife would enjoy similar treatment, go for it.
