Say Thank You. Repeat.

We have just come through a difficult season and I did everything I could to be there for my wife. She has thanked me for all kinds of things, often multiple times. Of course, she usually thanks me for all kinds of things, like every time I hand her coffee or make a meal for her, so this is just more of her being who she is.

It feels good to be appreciated. It also helps me know what really touches her.

Make a point of thanking your wife for all the things she does for you.

One response to “Say Thank You. Repeat.”

  1. Say thank you every time you can,
    and then say it again,
    for you need to understand
    you’ll not pass here again,
and gratitude will fade and die,
    a flower withering and blown,
and at its loss you will know why
    there’s no way to atone
    for lost opportunity,
for the smile that might have been,
    for rising arc of story
that could have brought a sun-bright win
to be recalled when you are old,
rather than lost day gone cold.
