Act Like A Gentleman

I opened the car door for my wife this morning. That’s not rare for me, but I realised how infrequently I see any other men do the same for their wife or girlfriend.

English gentleman wearing a black coloured suit consisting of jacket, trousers, cummer band, making a gesture with both his hands. Both hands are raised and one is holding a top hat

Acting like a gentleman with your wife is a good plan. Show her your respect for her by doing simple things she can do for herself.

Top hat and tux optional.

One response to “Act Like A Gentleman”

  1. Acting like a gentleman
    is duty, not a test,
    as I was reminded when
    I got my wife a vest
    made not out of satin lace,
    for that’s not how things are
    in this modern time and place;
    no, she got kevlar.
    She was really quite surprised
    that this I would have dared,
    that romance would have been denied
    that I might show I cared,
    and she emphasized, you see,
    that this is why she married me.
