Anything we do costs us physically and mentally. If we don’t have enough of either or are not willing to spend it, we can’t do that thing.
For men, the buy-in cost of sex is usually very low. For women, it is higher, and for some women and in some situations it’s significantly higher. For most women, mutual masturbation will have a lower buy-in cost.
My wife was reluctant to do this, it took her years to relax enough to try it. But once she did, she now enjoys it. She has a medical condition that can cause pain after intercourse, not every time, but often. We do this about twice a week and save intercourse for very special occasions.
