Make Her Wet

It’s been a good while since I wrote a post about the importance of using a lubricant when you have sex.

While men generally find a wet vulva and vagina a turn-on, we don’t need lubrication for sex. We get off (literally) on friction and a lack of wet does not stop most men from having enjoyable sex.

Passionate couple taking shower together.

But women are different. Friction does nothing positive for them and because their sexual tissues are much more delicate than ours not being wet enough can be uncomfortable during sex and leave her sore, or worse, the next day. Clearly, neither of these is good as they reduce her enjoyment of sex and her desire to have sex.

Unfortunately, she may not speak up. Some women assume their lack of lubrication means there’s something wrong with them and they stay silent because of shame or fear. Others may feel there is something wrong with using a lubricant or may worry their husband will feel that way.

So take the initiative and tell her you think sex might be better for both of you if you added some lubricant. When you get lube, ask her to put some on you for foreplay so it’s not just her using it. (And you might enjoy it!)

One warning, using lubricant is not a way to skip foreplay!

Bone dry is painful. Too wet and there isn’t much feeling. We need a level of friction, too.

Hey, I look just like that guy…except my hair’s all white, my stomach bulges, and my biceps are flat. :-)
